| Mark and Rant Maggie Rant just had a quick tour in Michigan,performing the Evart Musicale Series and a real gem of a Festival at Riverfolk Folk Festival in Manchester. Met lots of wonderful people,heard some great acts and we know, created a whole new bunch of RMR fans. The group is now prepping for 3 days of music boot camp,where we are heading off to write up the music for a whole new show. We look forward to bringing all of you lots of new, and exciting material in late 2010 and into 2011. |

A bit of a rest for RMR while Barry takes his act, String Bone to Germany, and Rob takes his students to New York city. Mark will be joining his pipe band for all the gala events and official openings for the Stratford Shakespeare Festival's new season.

| A big project is coming to a close. Mark was hired by the City of London to produce a cd of music and verse for a children's literacy project. Some exceptional musicians were part of the project and now the cd is in it's final stages. Thanks to all the musicians, we're in the mixing and mastering stage. |

| Mark along with fellow piper Mike DuBoulay from the Stratford Police Services Pipe Band have been hired as the piper/actors for the fall production of "Brigadoon" at the Drayton Festival Theatre. Previews begin on Sept.15th,opening Sept.17th and runs until Oct.10th. Call Drayton Festival for tickets. |

Well Stratford Night Music was a sellout,thanks to all that came,we had a great time. A few weeks off now for RMR,some downtime for the group before we start our fall shows.
Mark has begun the production of a children's cd for the City of London Children's Literacy Program.The project involves some of best musicians and singers in the region.More on this project as it nears completion. |

Well the summer events have got underway.Rant Maggie Rant played a great venue in front of Kitchener City Hall to kick off their "Our Music" concert series. The next big event in Windsor,Celtic Connections, where we share the stage with Leahy and Fiddlers 3,June 13,14th.
The cd is nearly done and we hope to have it ready for the big July 1st weekend. Stay posted! |

| As the year comes to an end I received a great gift. CBC has informed me that they intend to distribute my cd,"The Unbroken Line", coast to coast for airplay. Various regions will select the tracks they wish to air, but this is a wonderful endorsment of the music,RMR's debut cd will no doubt follow this with great anticipation from our national broadcaster! |
